How to connect IPTV via a set-top box
Let’s start with how to connect IPTV to the TV using a digital tuner. Described sequence is suitable for any model. The physical connection of the IPTV box is done with the TV off.

Plug an HDMI cable into the appropriate connectors on the set-top box and the TV. If you connect via RCA cord, connect it to the AV output and the “tulip” to the TV.
Plug an Ethernet patch cord into one of the router’s LAN ports on the receiver unit.
Connect the power supply.
Press the “Setup” button on the remote control to open the tuner interface.
З Go to “Advanced Settings” and set the Internet and video playback parameters.
Separately you need to download VLC Media Player, m3u-playlist of TV channels, dump these files to a flash drive.
Then go to the “USB” menu and run the installation file of the player from the flash drive.
Once installed, open the player and click “Add Playlist” and “Select File”. Find the file on the flash drive, click “Ok”. Channels are displayed in a common list. Click the channel icon to start playing.

How to connect IPTV via a router
The second way to use IPTV on TV with “smart” function is to connect TV directly to the router. We’ll show you two ways:

via network cable and Wi-Fi.

Let’s start with a wired connection.
Connect one end of the LAN cord to the panel port, the other end to the router port highlighted in the settings.
In the “Quick Settings” menu, select “Network” and go to “Wired Connection”.
Click the “Change” button and check the “Automatic” box.
Click on “Connect.

The router will send local network information to the TV, and the connection will be established automatically. You do not need to enter anything manually.

Wireless connection is made in the menu section “Connect to Wi-Fi network”. Available lines are displayed in a list. Select your local line, enter the password, click “Connect”. The connection to the Internet is established.
